Rivaling World-Class Courses, Ningbo Beilun Stages Speed and Passion
As China's first full electric city sports car, the QIANTU K50 has strong sports genes encoded in its DNA, so the quest on the track is naturally its mission. Before the QIANTU K50 went on the market, it had challenged six major domestic and international tracks, achieving excellent results, including 1:14:55 at Beijing Golden Port, Ordos track 2:4:18, Zhuhai track 1:55:34. These results owe to the design concept of the QIANTU K50, which combines the pleasure of driving a sports car with the attributes of an electric vehicle. The QIANTU K50 integrates a smart appearance, lightweight body, front and rear dual-motor 4WD system configuration, safe and reliable RESS system and professional chassis tuning into one, demonstrating exceptional strength with real results.
The Ningbo racecourse is known for its unique counterclockwise design, characterized by the Stop & Go feature popular today, which presents greater challenges to the race car’s power output and maneuverability. Thanks to the top supercar-standard front and rear double-wishbone suspension equipped on the QIANTU K50, and the Pirelli P ZERO high-performance tires that always keep 100% contact with the ground, the K50 conquers sharp corners with excellent grip and provides a strong assurance for improved comfort and accurate handling. In addition, the QIANTU K50 chassis system is professionally tuned by the British company Mira, and tested at racecar-grade on Silverstone Circuit, thus providing the QIANTU K50 with extraordinary control, giving drivers more sensitive and smooth handling experience. At the same time, the Brembo fixed four opposed-piston front and rear brake calipers, Bosch ESP and other high-end equipment can also maximize the stability and safety of the QIANTU K50. In terms of acceleration performance, the QIANTU K50 clocks less than 4.6 seconds up to 100 km and achieves maximum speed of 200 km/h, offering the drivers maximum sprint and fun.
Exclusively Custom-Designed Dragonfly Track: Those Born with Courage Fear No Challenges
In addition to the traditional circuit and comprehensive test settings, the test drive also featured the exclusive Dragonfly track designed by Qiantu Motors. Dragonfly track is inspired by the Qiantu brand logo, spanning various turns and straight sections, offering an agile and challenging experience. In terms of the setting of barriers, it integrates the classical elements such as the Nürburgring and the Autumn Mountain Five-Hairpin Curve, so that the participants can experience the elements of many classical tracks all at once and enjoy a "game for the thrill-seekers".
Celebrity Drivers Make Surprise Visit and Displays Classy Driving Style
Celebrity actress Xiong Dailin, who signed with Lotus Greater China Cup in 2014 as a driver, was joined by her husband Guo Kesong coming to cheer her on. This was the first time that the couple attended a public event together. They drove the QIANTU K50 together onto the track and experienced the performance of the QIANTU K50 with the guests. After the test drive, they shared their reaction with everyone. Becoming a race car driver has always been a common challenge in the couple's life, while experiencing the first full electric sports car in China was also a new experience in their racing career. While the QIANTU K50 doesn’t have a roaring engine, its explosive power isn’t at all lacking. The car may appear low-key but possesses real substance, like a quiet person with a passionate and wild side. This contrast is very attractive.
Appearing with the wife-and-husband Xiong and Guo was also an old friend of Qiantu Motor, International Class-A driver and Qiantu Motor’s Chief Test Driver, Zhu Daiwei. Before the K50 came to the market, Zhu already had a close relationship with Qiantu, having driven the K50 and achieved excellent results in several track meets. As the Lead Coach of this Driving Pleasure Meet event, Zhu said, "I am very happy to come to the scene of the Qiantu Driving Pleasure Meet and share the joy of the K50 with more friends. The Dragonfly track is very interesting. The barriers are very close and quite difficult, but they also allow the QIANTU K50 to display its control power performance to a greater extent.”
